We have three children in diapers and go through a lot of wipes, but these are worth it. These wipes feel soapy, they tear through if you so much as look at them too hard, and they are not coalated, which means you have to dig around for a wipe because they don't pull out one after another. Good luck if your package is less then half full, because then you are looking at spending 30 seconds trying to dig a wipe out, while also trying not to get poop all over and/or peed on. Oh, and once you do get hold of that second wipe, you're not done yet, because in the process of trying to get it out, it has become shredded and unusable because they rip like Kleenex. I accidentally bought two cases on an auto reorder, and honestly I'm considering just calling it a sunk cost and throwing them away, because I am at my wits end with these things. We have tried to power through it and use them up, but I think instead we are going to have a burning ceremony and dance around the flames instead. DO NOT BUY! They are good for wiping hands and dirty faces, things like that. Or even to wipe a surface like after an art project. I felt they were a bit too harsh for my babies bottom. I switched to a brand that is almost completely water. This one has some chemicals and fragrances which is why I recommended for cleaning not really for diaper changing. As far as the quality goes, I like that there a little thicker and can seem to handle bigger messed. The problem is that for years I've been powering through their biggest flaw: I frequently have to dig around inside the package to get the next wipe. The mechanics of this product are very poorly designed. I just love it (insert heavy sarcasm here) when I'm trying to clean up a diarrhetic explosion on a squirmy, crying baby with poop all over my hands and I have to work so very hard to get each of the dozen or so wipes that I need out of the package. Sadly, my most recent episode was the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back and I will be cancelling my subscription for these wipes. I received my package of Huggies baby wipes today the package appeared to be completely sealed but it had been sitting and water and had a moldy smell and the top container of wipes was torn open. I don't think I'll be sending it back and I sure don't think I'll be using it on my baby so I think I will probably just go to the nearest Walmart and just buy baby wipes for my baby from now on. We don't have any kids, I don't purchase them for those reasons. My husband and I usually buy the boxes from Costco of the Kirkland brand close to monthly. We keep these wipes in our cars for hands cleaning, in our RV, in the bathrooms, craft rooms, and use them for quick clean up of dog messes, or spills, etc. They are quick and easy and can keep them everywhere! We use to purchase the Walmart generic brand wipes which were the cheapest, but I've learned they crumble almost, and you need to use more than one for a "small" job. The huggies are thicker, don't crumble, and are softer (and no weird smells). Kirkland are still my favorite, more wipes, same price, good quality, but honestly sometimes I just really don't want to drive to Costco just for wipes, since it's packed, and a good 20-25 minute drive. So I'd rather order these from Amazon which I know are reliable, and just have them dropped off a day or two later. Can't go wrong! The first half of the pack does remove easy, but once you get to the bottom half they get very difficult to get out and separate. Great value
The flip-top packaging makes it easy to use
Does the job- one wipe is thick enough during diaper changes
Versatile- good for numerous situations
Too stiff- not as soft as other wipes.
Rips easily when dispensing
These are why not:
1. They feel like sand paper to the touch
2. They tear/shred so easily, my little guy ripped a piece off and tried to eat it in 0.2 seconds
3. I noticed the roughness and tried to be as gentle as possible, but my buddy got a BRIGHT RED bottom in just a few diaper changes.
He has never had a red bottom with any other wipes, so these are exceptionally terrible. All in time for him to be screaming in pain for his first birthday party!
If you want a cranky kid with a red bottom, or if you need to smooth out some rough plywood, these are the wipes for you! Strike that, they would rip apart upon touching the plywood - not even good for that!
